ATHLETE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

Every athlete starts with an assessment.

Before training begins, we need to understand the athlete—not just their goals, but their training background, current abilities, performance needs, available equipment, and the demands of their sport.

The Athlete Assessment gives MADE Strength & Conditioning the information needed to determine the appropriate training approach and build a structured path forward.

WHY EVERY ATHLETE STARTS WITH AN ATHLETE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

There is no single training program that is appropriate for every athlete. Assessment allows us to understand where you are starting, what you are trying to accomplish, and which physical qualities should receive the greatest emphasis.

This information helps guide programming decisions around strength, power, speed, reactive ability, movement quality, and overall athletic development.

WHAT WE LOOK AT

ATHLETIC GOALS

Your sport, position or event, competitive level, and the performance qualities you want to improve.

TRAINING BACKGROUND

Your previous and current strength and conditioning experience, including the types of training you have performed and your familiarity with structured athletic development.

CURRENT PERFORMANCE

Your current strength, power, speed, jumping, sprinting, and other relevant performance information where available.

TRAINING ENVIRONMENT

The equipment, space, schedule, and training environment available to you. This allows the training process to be built around what you can realistically perform.

CURRENT LIMITATIONS

Relevant movement limitations, previous or current injuries, and other factors that may affect training decisions.

HOW THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS WORKS
